Wheel Conveyors—also referred to as “Skate Wheel Conveyors”—are an alternative to non-powered roller conveyors. In these type conveyors, a series of wheels are mounted to a variety of conveyor rail shapes and with various wheel patterns to configure conveyor lanes. These can be one of two types: horizontal push applications or on slight decline angles for gravity flow solutions.

Wheel Rail Conveyors are appropriate when you need staggered or close centers for narrow conveyors. They allow more room for space between conveyors. Wheel Rail Conveyors are an economical and practical way of moving wide product. Less steel is used in such configurations and as we know, less steel = more savings.

Need an economical means of conveying products in flow racks and other gravity applications? Wheel Rail Conveyors (WRB) can be utilized as a heavy duty pallet rail. The opposing channels offer a sturdy configuration to cover longer spans, while the staggered wheel pattern conveys irregularly shaped loads. The close wheel centers and dual frame allow for higher capacity loads. It can also be used as a guiderail (or guardrail) on a conveyor.
